Other group tours
HMCS OJIBWA is the perfect destination for coach tours. Not only is it a one-of-a-kind attraction in Ontario, the surrounding area offers an endless variety of activities, great restaurants, excellent beaches, theatres, outdoor adventures and more! There is plenty of free parking for coaches and we are happy to have you leave your coach in our lot as your guests visit other museums and restaurants in the village. We can handle up to sixty people at a time in several formats, so contact us to discuss what exciting options we've got for you.
The Greater Depths Tour
Here's a truly immersive experience: be guided through the submarine by an actual submariner! This isn't some sort of conference setting, either. These are intimate tours, with a ratio of 1 submariner for no more than 5 people. In the Greater Depths tour, you'll get to see more, ask more, and do more than you even realized could be experienced on a boat. Climb the conning tower, investigate the lower deck, simulate loading loading a torpedo, and more! You direct your own tour, and your submariner will focus on your interests. This exclusive three-hour tour is something you won't find anywhere else, and an experience you won't forget. Makes an excellent gift.
CORPORATE TOUR - coming soon
If you're looking for team building opportunity, morale booster, or just an exciting day/evening out for your staff, then we've got a experience for you! These three hours - or more if you like - will challenge your group in ways they never imagined, viewing the everyday issues found in the workplace through the periscope of an extremely confined and difficult environment. How do seventy guys in a sealed tube solve problems like what to do when you are 6 ft + and your bunk isn't, how to deal with a crew mate who wants to play accordion at all hours, and what to do when a submarine runs out of toilet paper. Submariners have learned to bond while working effectively in these stressful conditions, giving them a deep understanding of the requirements of team building and problem solving.
Your group will be thinking about this experience long after they leave with a new benchmark for working together to accomplish goals.
Children age 6 and under are not permitted on the boat for safety reasons.
They are, however, welcome to a complimentary Fish Eye Tour around the outside of the sub.
