 HAPPY CANADA DAY

HMCS Ojibwa is all decked out for Canada Day and the mascots adopted by her submariners over her service (1965-1998) are waiting on board to greet visitors from 11 am to the last tour which starts at 3:40 pm. 

Come and meet Captain Caveman, who is at the helm in the Control Room and Garfield who has staked out a place in his favourite room - the Galley.

SUMMER OPEN EVERY DAY

Now that summer is officially here,
Ojibwa is open 7 days a week.


Hours
We open at 11:00 & close at 4:00 and the last tour starts at 3:40 pm..   The
first bookable tour is at 11:40 am.   
Tours are approx. 1 hour 15 min.  



A Reminder

Children must be 8 yrs old and up.
Pets are not permitted on the submarine.

Book Tour

Pre-Booking Highly Recommended

We highly recommended that you pre-book to avoid disappointment; payment is made upon arrival. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your tour to check in and make your payment.  It is possible that your tour will have been re-allocated should you arrive after your tour starts. We will do our best to fit you in as soon as possible unless we are fully booked.

HMCS OJIBWA sits in the valley below the main street of Port Burwell (Robinson St.).  As you drive  south on Robinson, look right and you will see her stark black fin peeking out between the stores and restaurants.
Don't get carried away, you need to turn right at Pitt St. just before the lighthouse.

The Elgin Military Museum is easily accessed from Sunset Drive (old Hwy 4). The famous Jumbo the Elephant statue is a two minute stroll east of the museum and the only Elevated Park in Canada is located directly behind the museum.
